Religiously speaking...Does 'free will' really exist? (see below)?

Humans make decisions that guide their lives. It is widely belived that humans have free will, but do they really? Outside influences guide humans' decisions more than they consciously realize. If the God they serve gives them really only two choices...serve or perish, how is that really free will? 'serve me (God), you live eternally, don't serve me and die for eternity'...is basically what the Bible teaches. Is that what 'free' is all about? If humans really had free will, shouldn't they have an infinite amount of choices available to them when their existence on this planet has come to and end? It seems hard to fathom that in a universe that appears to be infinite with limitless possibilities, the Creator of it all only gives humans 2 choices. I understand that the Bible is a very good guide for many people. It is full of valuable lessons that all of us can use. It is also full of fantasy and contradictions. To each his/her own.

Has anybody used liquid lawn aeration?

About 2 months ago I laid a new sod yard. I tilled the entire yard about 6-8 inches deep to loosen the soil to give the new sod roots a good start. Well, the yard isn't doing so good even after continued watering. I called in a lawn care company and they have treated the lawn with fertilizers and premergers (for the weeds growing between the sod). They recommend lawn aeration and overseeding this fall which is what I plan to do. I have found a few companies that offer a liquid aeration that is supposed to be better that traditional methods such as spike or core aeration. Has anyone had any experience with this type of aeration? Aerify! and LazyMan™ Liquid Soil Aerator are two of the companies. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My dad and stepmom found a really good addictions program in Alabama and their lawyer got the judge to agree to this drug rehab in lieu of prison time. It is a great program and they have one of the highest success rates out there. Your sister needs help. I know that the courts are much more receptive to alternatives like drug rehabilitation programs. Please , don't give up! I am still deeply in love with him & I know for a fact that he still has feeling for me, we're both each others first loves. He also said that it was his last email & that my love for him is fake, he was obviously upset that I didn't respond to him. I emailed him back telling him MAINLY that he should have called me. Plus to add insult to injury, I got 4 missed restricted calls this morning before I woke up about 2-3 hours after I received them, and I KNOW it was him, nothing else would add up. He was calling from somebody else's number....I feel miserable i'm really, really upset I feel that this is my fault and I should have written him back last night. This sucks because out of all the times we emailed, the first and only time I don't automatically respond, I miss out on something that i've been wanting more than anything. If they ask who that person is, let them know exactly who they are and why they are there. If you still receive the run around, send another certified letter with your intent to contact an attorney to handle the matter on your behalf, and that you will be sending a certified letter to the mayor's office. If that alone doesn't get it done, you need to have an attorney get involved. It probably won't come to that once they realize that you are making a legal paper trail. Could my dog have lyme disease with only a few symptoms?

I am currently waiting for the vet to call with their finding regarding my dog's ailment. she has a bite that red around it the size of a nickel. she does not seem lethargic and she eats as normal, but she is having trouble walking and is in pain in certain positions. a few weeks ago i was diagnosed with lyme disease and, oddly enough, these were my exact sypmtoms. i barely had a fever, i had no rash, no nausea, but i could hardly walk and i was lethargic. (apparently most people with lyme have a high fever and many much exaggerated flu symptoms) is it possible for a dog to have lyme disease and only present two symptoms: joint pain and rash? I think I'm going mentally crazy! What is wrong with me? (Long question description)?

Ever since I was little I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia. I had problems with telling the difference between realistic and unrealistic events. I have always done well in school, and have been a top reader in my grade. I love playing clical music on my saxophone and piano, and is seen as a gifted musical student. Everyone believed me to be the "perfect" child until they found out my most horrible secret. No one other than my parents and brother knew about my schizophrenia until my aunt found out. The gossip spread like wildfire through my whole family (as ridiculous as it sounds my family is based on image and money). Everyone looked at me as if I were contagious and may spread this "illness" to my cousins my age, so I was banned from my family reunions. My family took advantage of this "weak spot" in my "perfect" image that they just added fuel to the fire of feeling like garbage. I started becoming suicidal and was sent to two mental hospitals in one year. I then later decided "I will not let my family get satisfaction of this" so I started working even harder in school to the point where I am going to graduate earlier than my predicted age. Of course my aunt that first started this gossip is furious, and is trying every means possible to ruin me. I am glad though that I'm at a point where image doesn't matter to me anymore. I am looking forward and not back, so I started doing really well in life and felt happy. That is until my schizophrenia started to affect me more than usual, and I have been to the point of paranoia. I feel like everything is out to get me, and that I may be possessed by something supernatural. I fear looking in the mirror because my reflection scares me so much that I feel paralyzed. I feel like my reflection is not me, it is somebody else. I can't get it out of my head no matter how hard I try. Please no sarcastic responses that "Your so ugly your reflection even scares you" because that is not the problem. I feel as if I'm looking at a demon and not me. A monster of some sort that will devour me with anger and hatred. I don't know if my previous problem has anything to do with this, but I can't help but feel the urge to want and go stab all my family for the suffering they put my parents through. My mother would cry every day because of how my family looked and treated me. She even confronted my uncle and told him why his wife was doing this. He slapped my mother in front of my grandfather, and then left angrily that morning. I felt this huge hatred boil inside of me when I heard this, especially after finding out that my mother had kept it a secret so the news wouldn't affect my already weak mind. That I lost feeling in all my body and fainted. I have been receiving professional attention for years now, and this still hasn't changed. I'm only 16, but I feel my life is out of control. I have never had any friends and have never been one to think "normally". I may look at an object, and think something, while everyone else will think something else entirely. Isolation is something that has always been part of my life. I have never been to parties or anything social other then school and family events. The only place I feel I can relate to someone is on stage performing music. You see more eccentric open-minded people in musical audiences that I feel like a bond that I can't get anywhere else is created on stage. Without speaking or having to hear my thoughts I can perform as pionately and "odd" as I want. I look like a completely different person on stage and always think, "this is me! It's the real me!" Usually when I'm in my room isolated I look in the mirror, and the look in my eyes scares me to no end. I just see endless pits of hatred and horror that even I want to hide in a corner and cry. I don't know what to do. I feel as if I may be losing my mind, and I'm not sane anymore. Not that I was sane to begin with. If everyone can please give me your opinions on this problem. I have had doctors opinions, but all they lead to is a higher dosage of medication. Please is there any way that I can get out of this paranoia?

The best thing is to start from scratch. You don't say whether a laptop or desktop. First uming desktop & if XP was just installed those addresses will be missing. If you are wired to a router that has been reset get hold of the manual (online if you can via other pc) There will be a default gateway sometimes 192.168.0.1. but each router make has one for new install. Log in via browser & follow the manual or better use installation disk. Very important to get access codes from your ISP try help line if you need. Second if network running ok with desktop your wireless laptop should see the the router if SID is broadcasting & if wireless is enabled ok. If router is security protected you will need pword to get in. If desperate phone router maker's helpline. Good luck!

Replace the alternator and you should be fine, I think I would think twice about taking my car to your mechanics shop for any repairs as they should have caught that with a charging system check if they had done it, your old battery was probably still good.

I was recently drug tested by my P.O. and all the drug categories were negative. However, she said that the line for THC was "very faint." She accused me of using small amounts of Marijuana. I have never used Marijuana in my life. I just started taking Adderall XR and buspirone. I have seen many sources that indicate Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) and Naproxen may cause false positives for THC. Is there a list or guide where P.O.'s look to see what would constitute a false positive? I have a medical journal that says Naproxen can cause a false positive, and a presription bottle for Naproxen, but could my P.O. just say it is wrong? She told me I was crazy for thinking Riboflavin could cause a false positive. However, why would so many sources say it did? Could it just be a "glitch" in the test? What happens if a test is positive? Is it sent to a lab to test for false positives? I am hoping that if I am accused I will at least get a chance to have the laboratory retest my urine....Please help!

About four times a day i pick my nose to make sure its all fresh up there. Sometimes I even stay after work and would drink up to ten twelve ounce cans with them in the back of the store but not since Sunday cuz when I drink I can't use the internet to find and apply for jobs.These diseases run in my fathers side of the family. How to be more efficient at drafting (technical drawing)?

I recently started an architectural design cl and since I love drawing, I thought I'd really like this. Well, I do like it, but it takes me forever to do a drawing. And to make matters worse, my teacher doesn't tell us how to things, so I have to figure out how to do stuff and most of the time it isn't the most efficient way. For example, today I had to do a brick layout, which would have been easy because it's only 8" rectangles side by side except there is a 1/2" mortar in between the bricks. So I can't draw a rectangle and divide it by 8, because of the 1/2". Needless to say, I'm still not done the drawing and it's due tomorrow. What are some common mistakes you architects and drafting technologists made when you first started drawing, and how did you fix them?

Weight Loss Surgery, Diabetes and CDL?

I hope someone has a little insight into this situation. I am Type 2 diabetic, have been for about 17 years. I have spoken to numerous individuals that have had weight loss surgery and have reduced or eliminated their need for diabetes medications. If my diabetes progresses to the point where I need insulin, I will be unemployed with my current employer and I am afraid that time is getting close. I will then have the option of a lengthy process to be allowed to drive with insulin or find employment that pays about a quarter of what I earn now. I also have medical insurance, but with an exclusion for weight loss surgery. Am I wrong in thinking that weight loss surgery would be a reasonable accommodation under the Americans With Disabilities Act in order to keep me working? I am a CDL holder working for a company that carries hazardous materials. Opinions appreciated!!

Ok, so this may sound like a rant and it probably is, but I just don't understand the mentality my peers and parents and teachers have that smart students are only those who get very very good grades. I'm an average student but in a case of (mis)fortune, I was selected to be in the top cl of my school. I go to a science stream school by the way but in the past year or two, I began to realise my pion is more towards writing than handling lab apparatus. But, I stuck it up anyway. Your Grade Point Average is just that, an average. The number of cles don't matter because it's just the average taken into the consideration. I doubt it would fall to a 3.7 just because of one B. Maybe a 3.95 or something. Freshman year doesn't matter as much, because once you get to your junior and senior years you can take the weighted cles. I'm not saying that you shouldn't try freshman year, just save the stressing for the super-hard cles! (:

I must post on here atleast once a week. Back in september I went to the doctor for constant urinating and he did a blood and urine test blah blah...nothing. He said my sugar level was fine, my urine had no bacteria or blood in it. He told me it was a prostate infection, gave me a antibiotic, whatever. It helpd a little bit, then it started back up so I went back to him and we did the same thing over again, minus the blood test. NOTHING! My urine had no bacteria or blood, it was completely normal. So he gave me another antibiotic and ditropan and sent me on my way. This antibiotic didn't seem to do crap, but the ditropan helped a little bit. So I went back ONCE AGAIN, and we did the exact same damn thing! No blood or bacteria. HE gave me another antibiotic and they seemed to help. But during this time I was under alot of stress. I had also convinced myself that I had colon cancer because I was having diareha all the time, and if I wasn't having diareha, my stools were very slender,thin mushy looking, so I was freaking myself out to the point thay I tried to take my life. I was rushed to the ER they did an x-ray of my upper and lower back, and my upper and lower front, blood test, urine test, and some kind of heart thing. And once again...NOTHING! This may sound crazy, but would the doctor lie to me about my colon just to get me out of there? Would He actually be able to see my colon and se if there was anything wrong with it? And if so, then what the hell is wrong with me? I've had diareha for what seems like a month now. And i'm still having peeing problems. This is ruing my life I'm constantly stressing about this, and i'm constantly freaking out. Please help me, My girlfriend says it could be irritable bowel syndrome, but I don't know what to think.

I feel there have always been bad parents, obviously if parents these days are bad. The kid acts out in daycare, because he doesn't get the right kind of attention at home. Will a mattress be ruined if it gets soaked with water?

The local cable company was out at my house today and stepped on a sprinkler pipe in my attic which caused minor flooding through parts of the house and for water to pour from my ceiling through the lights, ceiling fans, sprinklers, etc. Our queen size mattress (all bedding & box springs) was soaked during it. The company is saying that the mattress will dry out and be fine so they won't replace it. I've heard that mattresses that adsorb that much water will not dry fine and will end up smelling. My mouse can't move her legs?

She drags herself around and burrows under her bedding and simply relaxes there. She has a bulge in her stomach and her legs look slightly swollen, but she just drags her feet and pulls herself around her cage. during a party that I was organizing in a nightclub, at the end of the night when we were leaving the club i was instigated into a fight by the bouncers in the club, next they called police on me and as police was arresting me I was confused about why they arrest me instead of the bouncers, and I resisted the arrest, and then one of the police officers sprayed me with a pepper spray and to protect my face I by accident hit one of the officers in a face with cafs, as I though bouncers used it on me, then I was pushed on the ground by another cup and three others joined in, they messed me up so bad that I ended up in hospital uncousinly. I am a premed student who is doing double degree in chemistry and sociology, and had never any problems with the law before. I was charged with ault on a police officer as well as battery and resisting arrest but after first preliminary hearing my charges were reduced to ault on a police officer because only this police officer showed up in court, after being taken from hospital I spend a night in police station as well as one day in county prison for this, can anyone tell me what to do about it as I hired a lawyer already and I have witnesses for this, but I am afraid of what will happen in worst case as I live in Illinois and I was not born in this country, should I risk going to trial? as I was intoxicated at a time. please advise and tell me what is the worse that could happen?

Well, let me tell you something about me. My name is Carl and i am 15 years old. I have lived in over 5 different places in my lifetime and i have a very hard time remembering anything. Changed my fuel filter, car won't start?

i've bought 2 fuel filters for my 1990 honda civic, the first one i couldn't stop the leak, so the 2nd one i made everything was ok ( the 2 copper rings, screwed it straight, the arrows match up, the pipes are correct holes), i did everything by the haynes book. Now when i start it i think theres a very slow leak cause it doesn't start, but i go check the filter and it goes very slowly wet on top ( of gas), my car won't start at all. Now my fuel filter still doesn't have a perfect seal, i can't do nothing about that, i honestly tried for 7 hours yesterday, just taking it apart, applying pressure, thats why today i had to buy a 2nd fuel filter just in case. But even though it has a very slow leak, shouldn't it at least start up for a few seconds? i'm at my wits end here! i'lll buy gasket sealer and seal the damn thing up, but it'll prob just end up leaking some more. The hoses are good, if i tip them upside down gas flows out, the gas tank lid is unscrewed, the banjos are good, it perfectly round, the threads i put sealing tape on it ( i know its not good, but i just wanted to see if it at least starts up)

hey guys, i'm a 18 year old girl who graduated from high school last june. i'm really shy and never had a lot of friends, but i couldn'st stand living at home (not that my parents want me there. we have 6 kids and i'm the oldest and their least favorite) so i found a roommate online and moved out of state after graduation. since then i had been working really hard mostly part-time jobs in the fast food industry but it's so hard to make ends meet plus i wanna maybe do some modelling and go to community college but i cant afford it. i was nearly broke last month after i got fired when someone browsing through my modelling profile offered me a chance to pose for his self-run website because he said i looked "youthful and chesty". the offer was pretty attractive and he ured me that it would be artistic and tasteful. i had no other choice. i went to the shoot at an apartment. there were 2 guys there both looked like they're in their early 50's and they were very manipulative. after they told to take my clothes off, taking pics, and touching me in appropriately, it turns out that they not only wanted me to pose but to do with the one of the owners while the other guy films. i kept protesting and told them i just want my money according to our agreement and go home, but they said no so i ended up doing my first video. i was confused and ashamed but going back home is not an option and i'm completely broke. they made an offer to come live with them for free and they said they wanna make me a "partner" of their newly-founded website and i accepted. i'm packing my stuff and moving in on march 1st (tomorrow). am i making the right choice? what other alternatives do i have?
