Can Paytv companies offer internet service and tv service using the same ku band dish installed in my home?

Is there technology available and in use anywhere already, that permits for the provision of internet broadband service and TV service simultaneously/concurrently using the same Direct-To-Home dishes installed in our homes??? how does it work?? Can anyone suggest materials that could explain the workability of this technology?
