Is this a medical condition?

if you make a habit of being up nights and sleeping days, your body sets your "biological clock" accordingly. This is true of many police officers and fire fighters who work a steady night shift. The same thing also happens when you travel by plane across several time zones. It usually takes a few days to get accustomed to the time at your destination when it is several hours different than what you were used to.
