Introducing a new puppy to a Great Pyrenees?

I have a male Great Pyrenees (Buddy) for a little over a year now, and my husband and I recently bough another puppy (not a GP) but Buddy is completely ignoring him and can't stand being close to him! How can make him accept that the new puppy is here to stay?
