The UNCF is presently running ads saying that black people invented elevators,a/c,lawnmowers, when they didn't

I think if you're going to solicit funds for higher learning at least use verifiable facts. Archimedes in 236 BC made an elevator,Carrier got the patent for A/C and other inventors (non-black) got credit for the other stuff. I'm quite sure that black inventions abound so why would they advertise based on propaganda?
