Any shy AND quiet teachers out there?

as you can guess, I'm a shy and quiet person (duh)...most of the time... but I want to become an ESL teacher and teach abroad!! I want to help people learn! So as I debate when to start my TEFL course, I would like to hear from teachers who have these traits and how their teaching experience is going. Thanks!
