Two male guinea pig in the same cage?

I have had my guinea pig about two to three weeks now, but they seem to be a little ruff on each other. they chase each other around the cage and fight over the water bottle. It don't see any biting and they were in the same cage together at the pet store when I bought them. Today i was playing with them outside the cage and they were chasing each other around. Then i hear a high pitch sound from one of the guinea pig it sound like he was hurt but the other one seem that he did not bit him. So i separate them or i this normal
